The staff are simply amazing, all friendly and cheerful! Michelle cooks excellent meals and takes care of us so our stay goes smoothly. Rambo is a fantastic guide who showed us the rice terraces, the village, and the waterfalls. Joenel handled the transfers from Banaue to Batad and back in a tuk‑tuk, taking us to various viewpoints that were each more beautiful than the last. The view from the inn is absolutely stunning – we face the rice terraces and overlook the village, creating an almost unbelievable landscape. The rooms are simple but comfortable.

The host and her family are truly warm and go out of their way for guests. The food at the accommodation was exceptionally tasty. I would return just for the great meals.

Batad village itself is an experience that tests any mountain goat’s knees. The inn is nice and cozy, offering a breathtaking view from the terrace and balcony. The host is courteous and welcoming, and breakfast choices are very good. The Wi‑Fi could be faster or more stable, as there is no mobile reception in the valley. Still, a couple of houses up there have a community centre with free Wi‑Fi and locals hanging around for friendly chats.
