“GRATA SURPRESA”

The place nailed everything – spot‑on location, spotless and comfy rooms, a roomy bathroom and a manager who was easy to reach. It’s simple, charming and cheap enough to feel like a good deal, so I’d definitely stay again and tell friends about it. The only thing that would make it perfect is a breakfast offering; there’s a bakery downstairs, but having a proper morning spread would be nicer.

I was switched to a different room the day before I arrived, but the hotel still delivered what I expected. The new room was fine and the staff handled the change without any drama, so the stay ended up being satisfactory overall.

The service feels pretty weak – everything is handled online with no staff on site, and the parking hours are so limited you can’t really move around freely. They told us to park at a nearby gas station, and the spot they pointed to didn’t match the directions they gave. All in all, the experience was more hassle than hospitality.

Breakfast starts early and is served promptly, and the kitchen’s individual utensils let you cook your own meals without any rush. The price is also fairly low, which is a plus. However, the cleaning left a bit to be desired, especially on the balcony, which could have been tidier.
