The hotel sits in a beautiful part of the old town. The staff are very polite and always willing to help. A pleasant young man greeted us and assisted with our luggage. The reception offers tasty tea, a laundry area with washers and dryers, and a microwave. The room is clean and cozy, with everything included, plus nice little touches.

The location was excellent, right on Old Tunxi Street itself. It was a little challenging to find the hotel, but a nearby street vendor called the reception, and someone came quickly to pick us up.

The hotel sits right in the middle of town, so you can stroll to most spots without a car. The carpet in the room is a bit old, though, so that could use a refresh. Overall, a convenient spot if you like walking.

The place is clean and in a great spot, so you can get around easily. But the excursions they sell are a bit of a scam – you end up paying more than the price you agreed on. So, great location, but be wary of the tours.

The staff were amazing – we had a train issue and they went out of their way to help, spending a lot of time on it. Their kindness really impressed us. No complaints.
