“Un véritable coin de paradis ! Magique !”
A true slice of paradise! A magical spot far from everything, guaranteed to disconnect and reconnect with nature. Adriano, the caretaker, was attentive, with his loyal Taco by his side. The lagoon was gorgeous with kayaks on hand, and the pool was well maintained. The kitchen equipment could use a little refurbishment, and watch out for the nearby Belize border that caused our network to drop.
The privacy of the location was appreciated, but a dog that wanted to play made my dogs nervous with its energy. We would have liked to use the kayaks if they had been offered, whether included or extra, as it would have been a good alternative for our trip.

The spot is incredible—off the usual path, tucked beside a calm lagoon with lush jungle lodges. The caretaker and his dog Taco welcomed us warmly, adding a special touch. We could bring our own food, but there’s no shop on site; instead, a short walk from the entrance leads to Embajada Universal, a separate eatery with a simple, tasty menu, great vibes, and more breathtaking views. The only drawback was sparse signage, so you might not realize you’ve arrived, especially at night, though daytime arrivals were fine.
