The bathroom, especially the toilet, was dirty and the room hadn’t been ventilated for weeks, resulting in stale air. The manager was very unfriendly and wouldn’t pay for a taxi to the bus station. This hotel should be removed from the program—how can it receive such high ratings? Wolfgang

The room was nice, spacious, clean and located in a very quiet part of the city. The staff were very friendly and helped me get to the bus station early in the morning when no Grab Bike was available. Breakfast included free coffee and local sweets. However, the hotel is somewhat far from the historic centre (20‑40 minutes walk), which could be a problem if you enjoy walking. The shower’s hot water was a bit unstable, and Nan, a small town that mainly caters to domestic tourists who drive, has few Grab Bikes for those without private transport.

The room was roomy and tidy. I had booked a room with a balcony because I wanted to read comfortably that afternoon, but the promised balcony was tiny, had no furniture, just cardboard and pigeon droppings. The room itself was clean, but everything around it—what was called the balcony, the sliding window that was full of dead insects—was filthy. The hotel had no charm and was located in a not very pleasant neighbourhood.
