This property was amazing; we had a sauna and a jacuzzi bath in our room, and you can walk to Utrecht Central in 15 minutes—awesome location. The bed was comfortable but a bit too small for my husband, who is 6 ft 6 inches.

Good, calm location. The sauna and jacuzzi were useless and bulky.

We had traveled all the way from Japan to attend the Defqon.1 music festival, only to have it canceled because of a red‑alert heatwave, leaving us without lodging for three of the four days. The scorching weather forced us to pick a hotel based on air‑conditioning, and this place had flawless AC units plus a fridge. Spotting the outdoor unit on the building’s façade after arriving from the station was a real thrill. The cold drink we grabbed at the ground‑floor food stall will stay with me forever, and the menu, heavy on fried items, was plentiful—making both meals and the stay perfect. Every staff member greeted us kindly each time they passed. The city centre is about a 20‑minute walk away and a bus stop is nearby. We booked a large room for a big group; despite being a last‑minute reservation, the rate was very cheap and a huge help. I’m deeply grateful to everyone who helped us and to the hotel itself.

The staff were friendly, the family‑run vibe was nice, the 24‑hour reception and its attached cafeteria were great, and the overall value for money was excellent.
