The welcome was warm in a stunning setting with enough comfort and old‑castle style, the décor was magnificent for a very pleasant stay and the guest‑house dining was a pleasure! The only suggestion would be to add a floor mirror in the room and a courtesy mirror in the bathroom.

Set in a leafy, quiet park, this superb hotel is a haven of peace, with exceptional décor, a well‑liked pool during the heat, hearty and original evening meals, and a host who takes care of details; plenty of other castles to visit nearby—looking forward to returning.

Christian was incredibly helpful and friendly. The castle looks stunning, the grounds are well kept, and the room was spotless. We also enjoyed the on‑site breakfast and dinner, both very tasty! Bring a car – it’s 25 minutes to Futuroscope and 40 to Poitiers. The first night we had was quiet because we were alone, but when the castle fills up there might be more noise or fewer spots.
