“友達との楽しい旅ができました！”

The manager was friendly and chatty, giving the place a warm vibe. He knew a lot about my hometown, so we had a great conversation. When I asked for a room change because the one I had booked wasn’t as described, he handled it immediately and I was very grateful. The bath wasn’t clean enough; there were slick spots and the tile grout looked moldy or blackened, and the toilet had a noticeable urine smell that lingered, so a bit more cleaning would have made it more comfortable.

The view from the room window was nice. The price was high because it was Golden Week.

I stayed for six people without meals. The facilities were a bit old, but for a room‑only stay it was good value. I didn’t check whether an early‑morning bath was available, so I’m not sure if it was a hot spring or not.

It was very affordable, which I liked. The bath floor was slick and slippery, making it dangerous, and the sudden stairs—there was no elevator—felt unsuitable for older guests. The cleaning didn’t feel thorough, but a large trash bin in the hallway made tidying easier.

There was a BBQ and a self‑cooking room, which was convenient. A large home‑center was nearby. The owner was kind. The men’s and women’s toilets were at opposite ends, so depending on the room you might have to walk a long way (the women’s toilet had menstrual supplies, which was reassuring).
