The room offers a panoramic view of the impressive port of Heraklion. Planes fly low over the balcony, which is really cool. It’s an old hotel but comfortable, and it’s very well situated for those heading to the Palace of Knossos or arriving by ferry at the port. It’s also near the historic center and the main bus station. Heraklion is a big city, and this hotel served me very well there. Thank you very much! The shower space is a bit tight and old.

The owners were very friendly and warm. The location makes it easy to walk to the port and to reach the airport by bus. The historic center of the town is also very close.

We only booked this hotel for one night to catch the early morning ferry to Santorini. Unfortunately, the hotel had a strong cigarette and foul smell throughout the hallway and in our room, which made the stay very unpleasant. The only positive is that it’s close to the ferry port. I’m sure there are better options nearby and would not recommend staying here, even for one night.
