“mooi hotel op een schitterende plek”
We enjoyed a beautiful view of the Sognefjord from our quiet room and the breakfast hall, where the breakfast was lovely, and we saw rainbows; we had the key to the pool and could swim without anyone else around; a staff member quickly helped us with a meal when we arrived later than expected, tired and hungry. The booking site didn’t mention that you have to go to another building for the pool because it isn’t on the premises; it’s close, but when it’s colder it’s not so nice to go back and forth in swimwear and a bathrobe, as we did. It was a shame that those awful cruise ships could also pollute this beautiful spot with their emissions, but the hotel can’t do anything about that.
