The Airbnb was very friendly with a single room, sea view. The owner, who is also a guide, was very friendly and helpful. Everything went well, I recommend it for a tight budget and proximity to nature.

The staff were very friendly. But the main manager was not pleasant, not friendly at all. My husband and I felt he only sympathised with Europeans, as if our presence annoyed him. When we said hello, he barely responded. There was no fridge in the rooms, no TV unless we asked for it, no coffee maker, no toiletries for the shower. The airport shuttle was expensive, while taxis cost 105 dollars. The Wi‑Fi was unstable with too many bugs, making it hard to contact relatives. There were too many mosquitoes in the room we stayed in; the insecticide the manager gave us didn’t work. I do not recommend this place.

Everything was great, a very good place, pleasant and in a good area. Close to almost everything within a walk of the center. Both Ana María and Mario made us feel at home and facilitated everything we needed. Thanks!!

The accommodation is in a pleasant, quiet location. Both the city center (about 30 min) and a large supermarket (about 15 min) are reachable on foot. The premises were clean and equipped with air conditioning; there was also a well‑maintained communal kitchen area and a terrace. Hot water, electricity and Wi‑Fi were always reliably available. The landlord was extremely attentive, helpful and always reachable. Despite our late arrival he personally picked us up from the airport at 2 am. He also helped us easily rent a car, exchange money, find a replacement accommodation in the south of the island after a last‑minute cancellation, and gave valuable recommendations for excursions and guided tours, some of which he offers himself. For us the accommodation was an excellent starting point with an outstanding value for money in São Tomé, and we recommend it without reservation.
