“Room smelt and was extremely damp!”

The location is top and the views are stunning, but the rooms are old, very dated, and we had a major issue with dampness; the odor was so bad I had to ask to be moved. The new room was better but still felt run down and had a slight smell. I think this hotel would have been superb 20 years ago; it’s a shame and also overpriced for the actual quality. The duvet felt like sleeping under a piece of paper. I won’t be returning, but the staff were lovely.
