The place was clean, functional, and cheap for Marco Island; the patio overlooked a small residential lake and the Wi‑Fi worked well, but the unit was clearly old and lacked good soundproofing.

Nothing positive. The air‑conditioner on the upper balcony was extremely loud, making the veranda, conservatory, and living room unusable for conversation and causing the whole living room to vibrate; the property was very run‑down with rotting wooden beams and broken outdoor chairs, shabby and worn furniture inside; there were hair in both bathrooms; an incompetent front‑desk staff member charged the wrong credit card, leading to extra fees; the air‑conditioning unit between the bedroom and conservatory was noisy and ineffective; we left after just one day.

“A hidden gem, we were disappointed we didn’t have longer stay. Good location for our early departure on a shelling tour”

The self‑contained unit across from the main hotel had two separate bedrooms, was small but perfect for a longer stay, and its location made it convenient for trips around the 10,000‑island area; shops and restaurants were a short drive away. It seemed newly redecorated to a high standard, so we might have been the first guests after renovation. A garden area out back with a lanai was enjoyable for a longer stay, and a pool on the property overlooked a pretty lake. The helpful reception staff provided extra towels for the pool. The website photos didn’t capture the real look. A few more kitchen utensils would have been nice for a longer stay, but everything appeared brand new.
