Because the accommodation is a bit outside Bad Schandau and we were traveling by public transport, we had to plan the trip by bus, which worked well. We were greeted very warmly and had the chance to visit the restaurant in the evening; it’s better to call ahead since there are no restaurants in the village. The breakfast buffet was varied. The facilities are a bit dated, but suitable for a hiking stay without high-end expectations. The value for money felt right to us.
