“其實濟州並唔大，如果講飛機嘅話，寧願住近市中心小小，搭的士去機場。呢間酒店陰沉恐怖，唔怕鬼嘅可以一試。”

The location is close to the airport and there are restaurants nearby, but the hotel itself is very basic. I chose it simply because I had a flight the next morning; I wasn’t after luxury. The cleanliness was poor, and the décor was dim and unsettling. The toiletries in the bathroom were used, and the cleaning staff didn’t properly tidy the room before handing it over.

The bathroom smelled, the bath towel had a funky odor, and the toilet water pressure was weak. I found hair in the fridge and dust on the stand; yellow rubber bands on the floor seemed to belong to someone else. The elderly staff at the 1st‑floor desk was very friendly, yet they nagged and tried to instruct guests. I asked for extra towels because the hotel’s summer towels tend to smell, but they refused to give more, insisting I had already used them. They told me not to leave towels on the floor, which felt odd. Laundry was difficult, and the towels in the room had holes, as if they were being saved until they broke. The light fixtures were faulty, the entrance sensor flickered all night, and dust drifted everywhere. I ended up staying late because I was dreaming about burning the hotel down.

The accommodation was somewhat old and dark, yet overall it looked clean. Occasionally there were noises from planes taking off and landing at night because it’s near the airport, but that wasn’t a big issue.
