The accommodation itself is pretty nice, the room is lovely and everything is fine. However, the description states “own bathroom in the room,” so I assumed a private toilet, but it turns out there are only shared toilets as mentioned in the fine print. Anyone who reads carefully is at an advantage, but I’ve never encountered this situation in hundreds of bookings.

The hotel is housed in an old, venerable Hamburg building and preserves many historic style elements, giving a home‑like feeling. The large, fully equipped kitchen has everything you need, and the rooms are magnificent with very good beds. We loved the stay. Everything was excellent.

Very clean, very comfortable with a historic charm. No reception, but everything worked smoothly via email and WhatsApp for personalized questions and information. The toilet was in a separate room; we saw the shower and basin in the room so we assumed it was an en‑suite, but the toilet was kept clean with towels, etc. So in the end there were no complaints.

The location and the beautiful building are worth mentioning, the room was clean and the shared toilets were modern. It is very misleading that the ad says “own bathroom” and “hotel”; there are only shared toilets for all guests. It is very noisy, there is no on‑site staff, and when I asked a follow‑up question on WhatsApp my second message was never answered. I find that rude and cowardly. The fridge in the kitchen was empty and there were no cold drinks as advertised, and 136€ for that is just too much.

The hotel’s location is great and the rooms are clean, but there’s no private bathroom—only a shared one in the hallway, and that wasn’t mentioned during the booking process.
