“Le château de la Belle au Bois dormant”

We spent three nights in this beautiful, peaceful castle. We were warmly welcomed, and to our surprise we were upgraded to a stunning suite because my husband uses crutches, so we stayed on the ground floor. A nice gesture👌 Our little dog was also very well received and was welcome everywhere, even at the pool! The half‑board was very good and tasty, with the option to dine à la carte for a small extra fee. The staff are very young and friendly. Breakfast was very varied and offered at very flexible times, which was convenient! There were several seminars during the day, but they didn’t bother us at all. I highly recommend this dreamy place 💕… Hoping to return ❣️

We had both dinner and breakfast, and we also received a complimentary room upgrade, which was amazing.

It was a super experience; it’s already nice to arrive, a huge driveway, the receptionist was very helpful, and because of a booking error we had double‑booked and paid, she ensured the duplicate payment was refunded within two days. We were able to enjoy the outdoor pool, the weather was wonderful. We had a Chateau room, which was perfect, and I’ve never had such a big bed before. The room was spacious and very quiet. (There was even a book by JY‑Cousteau in the room, now I’m sold). The evening meal was a highlight. I had octopus as the main dish, which was a real treat, and the dessert (with pear) is among the most special and delicious ever. (They have a top chef). Breakfast was also spot‑on. In short, we fully enjoyed it and will definitely come back.

The staff were extremely professional and friendly. My room was very spacious, comfortable and beautiful. The estate itself is gorgeous and tranquil, though we did hear a bit of chatter down the hallway.

The atmosphere was fantastic, the food was excellent, and the staff were very courteous. I received an upgrade and felt like a princess at my age. On the downside, some of the lounge chairs were broken and the mattress was too soft for us.
