The breakfast was what you’d expect from a high‑end French spot: fresh local fruit, baguette and pastries (we took the extras for the trip), homemade preserves, it really set us up for the day. However, the original gate to the property is closed (wide enough for a cart, maybe, but not modern cars) and the new entrance isn’t obvious.

Charming place, really good breakfast, plenty of shared facilities. The communal kitchen was a mess, with overflowing trash bins.

The room is in a vintner’s farm, very authentic, in the center of a small village well‑situated to radiate in the “golden stones” area. The hostess is friendly. Breakfast is simple but enjoyable. The room is a bit Spartan in terms of equipment (it was only a one‑night stop for us, so it didn’t bother us too much).

The staff were incredibly friendly and the stay was lovely as we passed through southern France; the surroundings and the drive there were already beautiful, and we sampled the homemade Beaujolais wine, taking a few bottles home—definitely recommend this accommodation!
