Very close to San Diego’s cultural sites by train (5 min walk) and downtown in under 15 min. The included lunch is good, the pool is pleasant. Great value for money. The small pool is welcome and relaxing. The proximity to the highway, even though muted, still leaves a background noise outside.

The bed was very comfortable, but the hotel felt a bit dated and the breakfast area was overcrowded; there was no space for fresh fruit or eggs.
