The hotel is right by San José Hospital, which made getting there a breeze. The only downside is the amount of stairs you have to tackle – there’s a lot of climbing involved.
The room itself was clean and comfortable, but the surrounding neighborhood left a lot to be desired.

I liked the location and the price was reasonable, plus there’s a bar at night and a restaurant during the day. At night the street can feel a bit unsafe because of vagrants, and the beds creak noticeably.
The building sits in a decent area with a bar, a restaurant that shuts at 6 pm, and parking right next door, plus a nice common lounge on the hotel floor. Unfortunately the double room felt cramped, the bed squeaked whenever you sat down and the mattress was as hard as a board, the shower faucet leaked, and overall the space was far too small.
Staff were friendly and attentive, the cleaning was solid and the facilities were in good shape. They even let me check in early, which made the whole stay feel smooth and pleasant.
