The location was spot‑on, the staff were helpful, and the rooms were lovely. The old‑fashioned bedspreads were a downside; fresh ones would make the rooms look much better.

The hotel restaurant has a lift and offers views of the sea and the castle. The water pressure and shower head were terrible, the door handle needed urgent repair, and it isn’t in a central location.

The breakfast was lovely and parking was great, but the rooms felt very dated and the bathroom was tiny.

The male staff at reception was great, yet the young blonde woman was rude and condescending, and when I mentioned I had booked a balcony room, her reaction was very unprofessional.
