The place was close to I‑80, but the room was absolutely filthy: stained sheets, cobwebs from the ceiling, sticky floors, oily fingerprints on the doors, and walls with dents that clearly need repainting. The water even had a strange odor. I stayed on the first‑floor courtyard with a sliding door that opened straight outside, which didn’t make me feel safe as a solo female traveler. If I hadn’t arrived so late and exhausted, I would have left. I got out the door by 5:30 am because I could’t stay any longer. I paid almost $300 for the night for me and my two dogs—insanely expensive for the condition of the place. I would avoid this hotel at all costs.

The common areas were nice, but an old smell hit you as soon as you walked down the hallway to the rooms. The mattress had divets and was very worn. The price we paid felt extremely overpriced given how old the hotel is.

The staff were great and the bed was comfortable, but the headlights kept pouring in through the window and the shade didn’t block them. The towels were dirty, and the shower curtain let water splash everywhere.

The interior was very unique, and in its heyday it was probably great (not so much now). Jesus was the highlight of our stay. However, the toilet was like a gas‑station model—yuck! The bathroom was subpar and needed a patch, caulk, and repair.
