The inn, its surroundings, the facilities, the décor, the courtyard, the food, and the cleanliness are all spectacular. I loved it.

I liked the location and the staff were very friendly, plus the building’s historic character. I would have preferred a room with better views since I booked a year in advance and the one I got faced the parking lot; there was no chance to change it because the hotel was full.

Breakfast was good. There was no wireless; I had no internet for the whole stay. I couldn’t use the hotel’s common areas (interior lounges) because they were turned into a private dinner event, which also used part of the terrace/bar in the late afternoon with a cocktail, leaving guests confined to the four indoor bar tables. Unthinkable. The rooms were poorly sound‑proofed; it felt like the neighbor was using the bathroom in my room, and that was worse when dogs barked in the adjacent room. Is this a resort?

The ambience, the main courtyard décor, and the surrounding gardens are great. The room access was bad, and the café prices were very high.
