“Great location but van shabby.”

The spot was spot on for visiting friends nearby, but the place feels even more worn out than when we stayed a few years back. The kitchen window is still a little drafty, the window itself won’t shut properly, and the edges of the work surfaces are peeling. On the dining table, screw heads stick out from the top. All in all, it looks shabby and I wouldn’t book it again.

We found the site peaceful, and the lack of on‑site facilities helped keep the noise down. Everyone we met was very friendly, which made the first caravan holiday for our dog and for us as a couple even more enjoyable—we wished we could have stayed a day longer. Across the road is a park with plenty for kids, and there are many dog‑walking spots nearby. Mortellos café offers breakfast, large sausage rolls, a wide cake selection, and plenty of ice‑cream choices, while Giardinos restaurant serves a broad menu with good gluten‑free options. Lowestoft is a walk away; we did the walk, but anyone less mobile might prefer to drive. There was nothing we didn’t like.

“nice place”

I recently stayed at a hotel that was perfect for our needs and centrally located. However, after our stay, we received an email trying to charge us extra for an issue with some pillows. Since we always travel with our own pillows, we knew this was a scam and ignored the email.

I was pleasantly surprised by a caravan that exceeded my expectations. The shower was great, and the furniture was comfortable. The beds were also good, making it an ideal place for me to stay while visiting family with my mother. Overall, it was a wonderful experience.
