The quiet spot, the friendly staff and the private parking were great, yet the mattress felt too soft for us. It’s unfortunate that, when you’re on the upper floor, you always have to walk outside to reach the breakfast area and reception.

The location was fine and the breakfast was good, but the rooms were very basic with many small faults. Parking on the property costs money, even though there isn’t a single charging point, and there has been little investment in recent years.
