“Good facilities but impossible to sleep in a sauna”
The location and interior are generally pretty good. It was impossible to sleep in a room set to 29 °C; the air conditioning, which was supposed to keep the room at 21 °C, actually over‑heated it. It felt like a sauna. I’ve stayed at this hostel several times and the room was always too warm (it’s September, by the way).
Nothing positive. I didn’t like the organisation and the fact that they didn’t inform me that the physical card, tax file number, and other documents had arrived by post. Terrible.
“Comfortable, affordable and convenient”
The place is right in the heart of town and the atmosphere is chill. I honestly liked every part of my stay, from the view to the vibe.

The location is fantastic—just metres from Queen Victoria Market and free trams around the city. The hostel was lively at all times, yet each wing had a quiet area thoughtfully designed for a break from the room noise. The pods were super comfy and quiet, even though one room housed 24 pods!

I booked at the last minute for my daughter in Melbourne, who had to move from another place because of noise and nuisance. She was exhausted from travel and alone. She loved this place! The room and vibe were exceptional, and the staff and communication were excellent. She slept well and was refreshed and happy to continue her journey. It was perfect.
