The breakfast offered good value, and the hotel’s character shines through the pleasant outdoor area, with staff who were friendly. However, the place could use a bit more cleaning and some refurbishment, and I was disappointed to find the restaurant closed in the evening.

I’m seeking a full refund because everything was bad.
“Dreadful”
I was greeted with a frosty welcome and charged £50 for something I couldn't understand; the room was dreadful, full of mould and cobwebs, and I had to flush the toilet using the bin, but the house and grounds were beautiful.
“Comfortable and easy access to Corsham”
The building and surroundings are beautiful, and the town is a 20‑minute walk or a short Uber away; plenty of bambies frolic in the adjacent fields, but there were no meals—what I thought was a restaurant is only open during functions.
The old place was nice.
