Delicious breakfast with local ingredients. The fantastic location with a view of the water. I feel that 1398 is very high for a single room on a weekday outside of peak season, as there was no luxury beyond my room.

The hotel sits nicely right by the boat, walkway, and footbridge with a lovely view, and it’s tucked away at the end of the road for peace and quiet. I only stayed one night and ran into a large conference crowd that, naturally, made some noise; free coffee was available everywhere for guests, but I had to pay 40 kr for a cup at the machine, which felt a bit petty.
