Beautiful quiet location in the heart of Finland’s gorgeous lakeside. Clean cooking areas, clean showers and bathrooms. Sauna and lakeside swimming with fine sand beach. Camping area and forests full of blueberries and lingonberries!!!

The staff were friendly and knowledgeable. The tent was buried in the forest. The frame poked through the floor, even the base wasn’t levelled. The luxury was only the hotel‑price level. The beds creaked and squeaked like Ikea’s cheapest mattress pads, with a thin foam mattress on top of the spring beds that made the creaks feel through. The “cozy area” was just two chairs set in a corner.

The tent was spacious, clean and bright. The staff were energetic and cheerful. The shared sauna, showers and kitchen facilities worked well. The wind‑screen noise could be heard very clearly inside the tent. The adjacent tent was very close.

The breakfast was really good! The sauna’s murky water was a let‑down, and we couldn’t swim, which we had been looking forward to from the holiday.
