Breakfast matched the price, the rustic rooms were a hit, staff were friendly, but the Wi‑Fi was spotty at times and it’s a 10‑minute walk to town with plenty of Grab options.

However, the building felt old, the rooms carried a strong sewer odor, the sink drain was poorly functioning, and the souvenir shop offered no help—when I tried to buy gifts, nobody was there, as if they didn’t care about selling.

Breakfast had a good variety and the room was clean, but we found ants crawling under the floor; we had just returned from Yok Don national park so it didn’t bother us too much, yet it’s not something you’d expect on the upper floors of a hotel.
