The terrace and garden were very beautiful, especially pleasant with children, and there was also a small breakfast with coffee that we hadn’t expected.

The location and host were great, the environment stunning and quiet, and the pool was delicious; the path to get there was narrow and unpaved, a bit strange at first but it settled in quickly, so it’s a definite recommendation!

The accommodation was clean and fairly well equipped (fridge, washing machine, kitchen, coffee machine) and the garden pleasant; the location made it easy to reach Parma centre by car, but unfortunately our stay was ruined by major problems: we didn’t receive the apartment we booked—a ground‑floor unit with a terrace and four real single beds—but were given another unit on a floor accessed by a very steep external staircase; the fourth sleeping spot was a very hard convertible armchair without a proper mattress, unusable for a night, so we had to share three beds among four people. The owner admitted a mistake in assigning our room to other guests but offered no solution or compensation, only suggesting we cancel and find another place when it was already late. We were also surprised by several maintenance and safety issues: some outlets and covers were poorly fixed, wires were visible, and the coffee machine could only be used by unplugging the fridge due to lack of a dedicated socket. The parking was very small and hard to access if other cars didn’t back in, and the accommodation was noisier than some comments suggest because traffic is present around the property with a major road. We also had to pay a tourist tax higher than the one listed in our confirmation.
