“overpriced, poor communication, too many stairs to get to room with heavy luggage”

The bed was soft, the room was clean, and the ocean view was good, but I never got clear directions on where the room was, how many flights of stairs—four—were needed, and there was no desk staff to help; I had to cross the street in pouring rain to get coffee.

The location by the ocean is great, yet the rhodies on the patio were overgrown and blocked the view, only two coffees were available for three people, I didn’t want to run across the street in the rain for another one, and nobody answered when we tried to call; the coffee itself was bad, there was no breakfast for the $400 a night, and checking in required crossing the street in the rain, which I didn’t like; the place looked a bit run down and the gardening needed work, so I wouldn’t stay again.

“Would definitely stay again.”

The room was great, with a balcony overlooking the ocean, a fireplace, a giant tub, and a cute little nook with the second bed; the location was terrific, right in town and a block from the beach.

“Good but not great for the price”

The location was great, but the room we stayed in needed updating to include windows, better woodwork, and a breakfast that should come with the room for the price.

“We would definitely stay again. Loved the location and quaintness of this property!”

Great location! Clean, comfortable rooms with a unique setting and room configuration, and we could walk everywhere from the hotel. However, it was expensive for a small room, had no ocean view, and offered no real amenities on-site.
