“Lovely owners and central location, but also noisy and very overpriced.”

The owners were genuinely friendly, which added real value to the holiday, and they offered a reasonable price for driving me around and doing my laundry. The spot is right in town, but the noise from barking dogs, nonstop traffic and loud crowds made it hard to sleep. On top of that the place is wildly overpriced for what you get: a tiny room, a shared bathroom with no hot water, and a $100 per night rate that feels unjustified.

The spot was perfect for our brief stay in Hopkins: just a stone’s throw from a gorgeous beach and plenty of eateries. The neighborhood felt safe, especially with the locked parking and locked private bedroom, and the host was kind and courteous—exactly what we wanted.

Everything was spotless and fully equipped for a long stay, and our hostess Elodia was very accommodating.

The owner was incredibly friendly and takes great pride in the place; it’s spotless, all new, and has good quality fittings. The beds and pillows are very comfortable, and the location is great—just a few blocks from the main road and a block from the beach. The positives outweigh the negatives, though the rooms are small and the roadside ones can be noisy. The smallest interior room is quiet, but the shared bathrooms were a surprise. It’s pricey for what it is, but Hopkins isn’t cheap anyway.
