Lago Garden Hotel & Spa

The grounds were stunning and the overall vibe in the houses was great, with friendly and accommodating staff, yet the bathrooms were rusty, the shower and toilet were loose, the plaster on the ceiling above the shower was flaking, the shower door opened only 40 cm, tiles in the shower floor were loose, the electrical setup was disastrous with visible bare extension cords, the balcony whirlpool had no cover on the jets so hair got caught, each coffee capsule cost €1 which is a first for me compared to other hotels, and the breakfast, though touted as fantastic, offered a limited variety. I can't give this place five stars.

The breakfast was excellent and the rooms were roomy, plus walking to the ocean and a handful of great restaurants was easy.

The greenery, the space in the rooms, the comfort of the bedding, the pretty palm trees, and the location were all positives, but there were some unpleasant pipe smells in the rooms.

“Ein außergewöhnliches Hotel in ruhiger Lage.”

They met my wish for a quiet room and even upgraded me; the garden was a dream, far bigger, more varied and lush than the photos suggested, and I liked the separation between the quiet pool and the play pool, but I disliked the artificial scent used to "improve" the air in the lobby rooms, and there were mosquitoes in the garden, which is understandable given the well‑watered grounds, though the hotel can’t be blamed for that.

“Excellent hôtel.”

Suite spacieuse, balcon, clim qui ne fait pas de bruit. Lit très confortable, douche excellente. Les piscines, la salle de sport, le SPA. Le jardin est fabuleux. Surpris par beaucoup de bruits 1 matin ou 2 venant des chambres d'à côté. Etonnant pour un 5 étoiles
