The spot is great, the host and staff are very friendly, the sea view is amazing, and I loved it. Breakfast was included.

“Pleasant few days away before returning home.”

The beachside location is quiet and away from crowds, yet you can walk along the beach easily. I didn’t realize I needed to request an upstairs room (with a small extra fee) to get privacy and an ocean view; our room faced the kitchen and we kept hearing breakfast prep and someone’s phone or a persistent alarm in the mornings.

“Fijne en geriefelijke homestay.”

The room was very comfortable, the air‑con worked well, and coffee and tea were available on the room and could be refilled without hassle. The bathroom was lovely. The host and owner were especially friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent, not sparse, with tasty juices, coffee, and tea on demand. Because of the layout of the central space (lounge, breakfast area), interacting with other guests felt natural and enjoyable. The homestay has a nice garden from which the beach is easily reachable. There are no restaurants or shops right around the homestay, but the host arranges transport for reasonable rates. The beach on the neighboring plots had more litter, but the private beach is fine.

It’s a very family‑friendly place with friendly people and a pleasant atmosphere. When we moved into our room, we immediately noticed a strong mothball smell. In the bathroom we found two pieces, removed them, and hoped that fixed the issue. The smell persisted, so the next day we asked the staff, who then removed more mothballs from the wardrobe. The beach is a long way away and there’s a huge landfill nearby—something we’ve never seen before.
