Breakfast is served at the nearby bar—coffee or cappuccino with a croissant. The walls are thick, and there’s no air conditioning; there’s a mini fridge for fresh water and plenty of wardrobes. There’s no window, only one tiny one in the bathroom. The bed isn’t a mattress, the bed frame needs replacing… just turning in bed makes noisy sounds that wake the person next to you.

The location was convenient. The host didn’t reach out before arrival, only contacting me at the pre‑set booking check‑in time. I ended up at noon with messages on Booking, WhatsApp, and calls, not knowing whether the check‑in was self‑service or if I’d need to meet a person, so I had to run into town and wait over two hours for him to return. Payment was instant cash upon arrival. The room had two nearly broken wardrobes, the bed made annoying noises even when just sitting, and it would be a nightmare sleeping in two. The room had only one bathroom, and the lock was completely broken so the door wouldn’t close. There were no chairs or even a window, and the air was stale. On the last day we even had a cold shower! After that, I wonder if it really’s worth more than €50 a night. I don’t recommend it, but if you absolutely need a place to sleep in a cramped space, you might manage. It’s not isolated from noise.

The only good thing was the bar right next to the room—good coffee and great croissants! The experience was honestly very disappointing and far below the minimum acceptable standards for a 2026 Booking listing. The place looked makeshift and lacked essential items: no table, no chair, no glassware or cutlery. The wardrobe was half‑unassembled, the bed was extremely noisy and unstable, and the “mattress” was basically just a topper, making sleep very uncomfortable. The bathroom was poorly equipped: no towel hooks or beauty case holders, and the shower water reached the sink area. At night a bright green emergency light illuminated the room, making it hard to sleep. The Wi‑Fi pocket was often weak, and the TV kept freezing. When I asked for an extra duvet, the owner took it from his car trunk; we had to get our own clean sheets, blankets, and pillows from family. The owner also preferred cash payments off‑platform, which I found unprofessional and unsettling for guests. After thirty years of traveling, I rarely find a place so poorly maintained, lacking basic comforts, and managed so roughly. I can’t recommend this stay.
