“Need of a lot TLC, would not recommend staying there.”

I liked that the bed was comfortable and that the receptionist and breakfast staff were friendly and polite—those were the only positives. The rooms look worn and need a refresh; the suite had just one warm room, relying on a plug‑in heater, and the bathroom light had a long screw stuck to the pull‑cord, making it hard to turn on or off. The toilet seat was loose, and I couldn’t even call it a “suite.” I wouldn’t recommend staying there.

“A nightmare, old outdated, stains on carpets, no restaurant or bar. Pictures do not resemble the place to stay.”

Nothing positive to mention. The experience was so bad that I left and booked elsewhere.

The location is convenient and there’s plenty of parking, but everything else at the hotel was terrible: the decor, beds, dust, dirt, missing bathroom plugs, a leaking toilet, and a carpeted floor that was all over the place. The beds were broken and old, and the noise from the main road was unbearable. Don’t be misled by the pictures or the website.

“A little bit like fawlty towers. Very poor”

The spot was spot on for what we needed, but the place clearly needs a makeover. The smell was off, the carpets were in awful shape, and the furniture looked old, dirty and worn out. The sofas were especially uncomfortable and obviously past their prime. One window wouldn’t close properly, making the room freezing, and the heating was broken; we only got a tiny portable heater that didn’t help at all. The biggest shock was finding the bedroom smoke alarm covered with a plastic bag when we woke up—an obvious fire‑safety violation. I filed a complaint, but there was no staff to talk to when we checked out, just a bowl for the keys. Overall, the property felt neglected, poorly maintained and in dire need of investment. It was a very disappointing stay and I wouldn’t recommend it in its current state.

“Never again.”

There was little to like about this place. From arrival to departure everything was bad. I knew the previous reviews were negative, but we had no choice because we needed eight rooms. The rooms, cleanliness, bathrooms, floors, carpets, heating—everything was lacking. It needs a complete overhaul. I would not recommend it to anyone; it’s the worst place I’ve ever stayed at.
