The Two‑Bedroom Chalet offers a private patio and terrace with mountain views and a fully equipped kitchen, including a dishwasher. It provides two separate bedrooms plus a sofa bed, sleeping up to four guests. Two private bathrooms each feature a bathtub or shower, hairdryer and flat‑screen TV. Additional amenities include carpeted flooring, heating, an electric kettle, microwave, oven, stovetop, washing machine, DVD player and sockets near the beds.

“Absolutely diabolical, I actually feel physically sick writing this and looking back at the conditions”
The property was clearly unsuitable and dangerously non‑compliant with health and safety. Untreated flood damage was obvious, hygiene was terrible with animal urine, hair, and expired PAT tests on unverified electrical appliances, and the shower door actually fell off during inspection. The owner kept in touch until I sent evidence of the failures, yet they seemed unaware of the property’s condition despite multiple reports on several platforms. I’ve never seen anything so dirty and unsafe; I can’t believe they run a business renting out accommodation in these conditions – they should be ashamed. I would post more photos, but the 20‑photo limit on reviews stops me.
“Amazing and worth of money”
My time at Dyfed 23 was absolutely wonderful. The caravan was extremely comfy and cozy, making it the perfect spot to unwind for a couple of nights. Everything was clean, well‑kept, and felt welcoming from the moment I arrived. The atmosphere was peaceful, and the location made it easy to relax and enjoy Borth. I genuinely had a great stay and would happily return.
The caravan’s location, the outdoor seating areas, and the beds were really comfortable, and the host stayed in contact throughout our stay. It was a bit dog‑smelly when we entered the van, but the smell seemed to dissipate once we opened the windows. The caravan was lovely but needed some maintenance and repair. The cleaner had been in but had not lifted the seating to vacuum. On leaving we stripped the beds and lifted the seating so they could clean for the next guests. That said, it did not spoil our stay. It was relaxing and we loved every minute. I would return in the future.

The place was okay where it was situated, but the bed linen was dirty, stained, and smelled unclean. The accommodation at Dyfed 23 did not match the pictures and felt very tired. The photos shown on the website must have been taken when the property was new, so it was a misrepresentation. I tried to contact the property owner with no reply; they said they would get back to me within 24 hours but never did. I was very disappointed.
