“Lovely staff all round! Had all we need”
The staff were friendly. The room decor could be a little more up to date.
We knew we would check in very late on the day—actually beyond midnight—so having a 24‑hour desk was essential. The rooms were a bit tired and everything felt like it could use some updating.

The rooms were clean and pleasant, but without air‑conditioning during the heatwave the rooms became unbearably hot, making us ill and sleepless; our friends chose to leave late at night and drive 200 miles instead of staying. The breakfast was acceptable, yet the dining area was not clean and the communal toilets were filthy and left uncleaned for both nights, with overflowing rubbish. Dinner was subpar, most vegetarian options were missing and the quality was poor; the dining tables were sticky and an interdental brush was found under one of them.
