Hotel Spálov

Breakfast was excellent with friendly staff. They also offer breakfast to take away. The hotel is in a quiet area with a train stop for trips around the region.

The accommodation was set in beautiful nature and quite peaceful. Next to it is an old hydroelectric plant that isn’t noisy and lights up nicely at night. A single‑track railway runs around the hotel, and occasional trains pass by, but the sleep isn’t disturbed. The breakfast buffet and the selection of hot dishes during the day were adequate. We stayed after the season and the room cleaning, especially the carpet, was a bit behind. The stairs in the hallway had mud for two whole days, and items from previous guests remained under the bed. The room itself was clean, the furniture new, but the bed was too soft, and the two mattresses in the matrimonial room kept shifting. The shower had low water pressure, but you could still get a shower.

Everything was great, the location right by the trail was perfect, and the host lady was fantastic 😊

The place is beautiful and quiet, close to Železný Brod, with friendly and helpful staff, excellent breakfast, comfy beds, and a lovely surrounding area.
