I booked for around midnight on 24.06 and received a confirmation email, but because my flight to Geneva was delayed by over an hour (instead of leaving at 17:30 it departed at 18:45 from Belgrade), I arrived at 01:30 on 25.06 and found no one at the locked property! No one answered my calls or messages. I paid 68 € in advance for the night and was left without it. Given this experience, I don’t think this place deserves to be listed. I expect a refund of the paid night within a reasonable time.

Nice house with a good pizzeria. The staff member was super friendly. The beds were a bit narrow but comfortable. The room was very clean and had a beautiful bathroom. Perfect location for hikers on the Via Francigena. Unfortunately, there was no toilet seat in my room. The Wi‑Fi does not work in the upper rooms.

“Tappa riposante lungo la Francigena”

In the center of Cavaglià along the Francigena, the restaurant owners on the ground floor also manage a few rooms on the upper floor; we stayed in the attic with windows facing the restaurant’s façade. The windows are very small, so the room is a bit dim, but still very cozy. We dined at the restaurant, enjoying excellent quality meat and tasty desserts. Breakfast was Italian, with cappuccino and brioche made fresh. Great value for money. A few difficulties opening the blinds and lighting the room during the day.
