The staff were very friendly, though they only spoke English. The facilities feel old, but my room was spotless and my stay was mostly peaceful with no hiccups. Having a minibar in the room was a big help. The bathroom was spacious and bright. The location is good, just two blocks from MARTA, but the city is full of homeless people everywhere; it’s not the hotel’s fault, the streets are infested with them and they seem indifferent. In any case they don’t bother you much, in most cases. You can’t open the windows, so the air‑conditioner has to stay on, and it’s noisy whether it’s on or off. The Wi‑Fi is slow, and sometimes I couldn’t upload the stories I wanted to post on Instagram. The biggest area for improvement is breakfast; there’s bread but few options to spread it on, and I never saw ham or cheese, for example. I survived on fruit every day.
