“Good value and a great location.”
The location was great, although most of Las Ramblas was under construction. Still, it was easy to walk to great restaurants, La Sagrada Familia, and other sights. The staff were friendly. The room was clean, contemporary, and the bed comfortable, and the USB charging ports next to the bed were fantastic. I didn’t opt for breakfast, but the coffee shop on the main level had everything I needed. Overall I was happy with my stay. I was a little thrown off by the reception being inside a coffee shop; I wasn’t immediately greeted but we figured it out. The hotel was a bit hard to locate, and the sign is small— a bigger sign or a reference to the coffee shop might have helped. The staff were good, but the next day a transient man came in and asked everyone for money, becoming a bit aggressive. I would have hoped the staff would intervene, but she did not. Finally a random man (maybe staff?) asked the man to leave and had to lock the doors for a bit to secure the property. The street noise was louder in the room than I would have preferred, but it diminished after midnight.
