“Uneasy stay”
The staff were very friendly. The room came with a kitchenette, so you can buy groceries and cook to save a few bucks. But the parking lot was full of people hanging around, which felt a bit sketchy. The kitchen’s cooking left a strong odor throughout the hotel, and there were dead roaches near the air conditioner. On the morning we left, a homeless man crawled out of bushes near the side exit and seemed annoyed we’d woken him up. The freeway runs right next to the hotel, and the traffic noise at night is intense.
