The place was super cozy, and Sandrine and Thierry were friendly, smiling, and always looking after our comfort while my 11‑year‑old daughters and I stayed; the room was clean and genuinely cozy. Relais des Fontaines is a 15‑minute drive from Zoo de Beauval and 30 minutes from Château de Cheverny and other spots, so everything was close and local. Breakfast featured homemade, locally sourced items. Everything was perfect.

From the moment we were welcomed by the extremely cheerful and generous Sandrine and Thierry, we felt right at home; the house, common areas, and room were impeccably clean. The place was absolutely quiet, and breakfast—simple yet delicious with local products and homemade pancakes and brioche—made it a very warm spot.

The breakfasts were great, the reception was friendly, the setting was bucolic, the location was convenient, and the hosts were welcoming. The floor texture in the room feels rough when walking barefoot, which I personally found off‑putting.
