The place stayed quiet and safe during the Super Typhoon, which is why I chose to stay there. The shower/tub was too high; I had a new hip installed and it was hard to get in and out even with the security bars. I asked the maid, and she said all the tubs were like that, but if you have a problem like mine, ask about the handicap facilities next time you stay there.
