Breakfast was decent, with all the basics, ready to be made on your own in the shared kitchen with other guests. The house sits in a quiet area outside the city centre, convenient for those who need parking, but not ideal for those who must travel by public transport. It was very useful to have access to a washing machine and dryer! Nothing to complain about.

The host was friendly and surprised us with a good breakfast; the accommodation was pleasant, but the location was a bit far from the city centre, and the house had no Lodging sign, so I was unsure if I had arrived at the right place.

The lady who runs the place was incredibly kind and helpful, and the kitchen is gorgeous with a generous breakfast spread (yogurt, toast, biscuits, fresh fruit, tea, coffee, milk, cereals…). Getting to the center is easy if you adjust a bit to the bus times. The bed was a bit small, but they warned us beforehand, and overall the price feels a bit high compared to other Irish cities.

The place sits in a lovely, quiet neighborhood and is close enough to the city that you can walk there. How much you enjoy it really depends on how decent the other guests are while you're there. Late‑night visitors, between 11 pm and 3 am, do come inside the house; even if they try to be quiet, the floorboards creak a lot and you can hear other people talking through the walls.
