“Unfortunately cannot recommend this hotel”

The place was in a good spot just off the main street and close to the gem dealers, and the staff were very helpful with getting ice to cool our drinks. The room we booked wasn’t ready, and the manager told us there was a better room available that we could use. We had booked a room with a balcony but were given a basic room without a balcony and no top sheet. The rain shower isn’t connected to the hot water, so you have to use the handheld shower. All our food was ruined because the room was full of ants.

“Not suitable for solo female traveler”

The location was fine. The room was poorly maintained: ants on the bed, towels with a musty damp smell. Basic essentials were missing: not enough toilet paper and no blanket. My room (Room 03) was on the ground floor, right across from the reception desk, which isn’t open 24/7. At 1:20 AM, someone knocked violently on my door and tried to force their way in. As a solo female traveler, this was the most terrifying and traumatizing experience of my life. The next day, management checked the CCTV and dismissed the incident, saying it was just another guest who “forgot their room number.” They apologized, claiming “this had never happened before,” but offered zero compensation or proactive support. It was ME who had to demand a room change to a higher floor before they finally moved me.

“Not bad but highly low maintenance and standard”

The location was good, but there was a water leak from the bathroom sink, no fridge, and we were charged for cold water bottles. There was no room service, no cleaning, and no bed linen changes.

Everything was fine, the location is perfect and well‑situated. The staff is very friendly and responds immediately to all requests, so my stay was pleasant and convenient. Nothing negative.
