Patio Rooms Gjirokaster

The room matched the photos exactly, the bed was comfortable, the balcony offered a very nice view of the city and its castle lights up at night. The breakfast was the best I’ve had on my trip, with several specialties you’d look for when visiting a country. What I liked less, unfortunately I think there wasn’t much you could do about it, was the rooster that crowed a good part of the evening until 23:00.

“Maravillosa atención”

The best part was the family that runs it, Irsida and Ergest, who were incredibly kind and attentive; our room was spectacular, large with a nice terrace, clean, and with beautiful views, and the traditional breakfast freshly made was wonderful. The walk to get there isn’t the most comfortable or pretty, it’s on the outskirts and you might wonder, “Where have I gotten myself into?” but the owners’ hospitality, the room, the garden where breakfast is served, and being only 20 minutes on foot from the historic center make you forget the inconvenient arrival route. A bathroom curtain would have been nice.

“Beste koselige overnatting i Gjirokaster”

Had a very good view over Gjirokaster, a short walk to the old town, a super cozy family, and a beautiful breakfast in fantastic surroundings.

Nice location with a great view of the mountains, a lovely garden and a quiet setting. Very friendly owners, excellent breakfast, and a self‑serve tea bar. The shower and toilet are in the same room, which is a bit inconvenient because everything gets wet. There aren’t enough places in the bathroom to neatly store clothes or toiletries.

“Pyszne domowe śniadania, niesamowity widok, wspaniała obsługa”

We’re very satisfied with our stay. Breakfasts were delicious, different each day, made by the owners. Rooms were clean and well cared for with a beautiful view.
