The Standard Double Room provides a view of the pool. It sleeps two guests, includes one double bed and a crib, and offers a private bathroom equipped with a bath, bidet, hairdryer and free toiletries. Parquet flooring, a wardrobe and heating complete the interior.

“Preciosa quinta histórica”
The welcome staff were great and the quinta and its surroundings were stunning, but getting there was a nightmare for my car; the unpaved, dark forest road was riddled with deep ditches and ruts, and the final 20‑minute walk was a steep, uneven climb over stones and holes.

The staff, the setting, a very quiet place that transports you to another era, full of history. The estate and pool are spectacular. The treatment feels very family‑like and close. The access is a bit tricky, especially when it rains because it’s a dirt track, but that’s understandable for such a tranquil setting with a spectacular landscape.

A characterful dwelling, very calm place. The access road is very tricky… The outdoors lack maintenance. Only one electrical outlet worked in our room. The pool and outdoor lawn are poorly maintained.

The old quinta kept its original charm and was absolutely worth seeing, offering a quiet, magical setting, yet our room suffered from mold, was damp and smelled bad, the bathroom lacked a power outlet, the access road was terrible and impossible to locate on GPS, breakfast fell short of expectations, the nearest restaurant or shops were about a 20‑minute drive away, and the property only provided water and tea besides breakfast, while the pool had six loungers but no towels.

Living like in a 100‑year‑old castle – incredible and everything you can touch. The sunset view is picturesque and the peace is dreamy. The drive is a real adventure the first time. In the evenings only room service is available for food.
